REVIEW: Botanicals Body Balm and Bath Soak

Botanicals are a really fantastic brand which people need to know about! I was very kindly sent the Bath Soak, which comes in ‘Himalayan Rose Crystal’ form, and an Orange Blossom Body Balm. The 2 products are very refreshing and natural on the skin. I am always skeptical about using fragranced body care due to the known chemicals in some branded products. Botanicals are 100% natural and soothing on the skin.

I cannot tell you how much of a bath soak and 'bomb' person I am! I love bath products that smell fantastic and are exciting. Being a student, in London (talk about poor...) with only a shower and no bath means that the only way I can make use of fantastic bath products is visiting mother and father in Hampshire. I found the Soak so relaxing. The fragrance just made me feel as if I was in a spa. I could feel all my bones and joints just relaxing! (and being a student, this felt fantastic!) The only thing that I was unsure about was how much to use... I mean, I didn't want to use loads but I did want the fragrance to come through. I found that 2 spoonful’s’ was perfect, however, this may be different for somebody who would prefer a subtler sort of fragrance. 

Body Balm - 'Orange Blossom'

I don't know about any of you readers out there, but I LOVE the smell of an orange! It is such sweet but slightly bitter smell and I personally find it quite fresh. I was not entirely sure what to do with the body balm, and how much to use. I suffer with extremely dry patches on my arms at the moment, so I thought that using this body balm on these areas would be a good idea to see if it would soften the skin. The balm had quite an oily texture, so for anyone with oily skin I would be skeptical! I used the balm once a day on the dry patches and the skin has actually starter to feel and look better already and this is only after 2 weeks. I feel that if I was to continue this, the dry patches will completely disappear.
